Lead Consultancy & Project Delivery

It is a fact that individuals and resources will change through the course of a project and with this comes ‘knowledge leak’ and the risk of ‘discontinuity’. Over time, the scale of risk associated with any given change rises significantly, meaning that small changes which have little effect at the outset of a project can have far more severe impact if made later in the development process.

The Lead Consultant is an extension of the client’s own team and must therefore have the capacity to draw from a large and varied skill base. The Lead Consultant becomes the guardian of the project strategy seeking to mitigate risk away from the client and minimise the risk of discontinuity.

As a Lead Consultant, Locum assists clients in accelerating the early procurement and co-ordination processes, supplementing in-house resource deficiencies, initiating complex projects through an holistic approach and generating valuable early momentum and, vitally, formulating the development vision and strategy underpinned by the client’s own objectives.
